This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the manner in which Decisive Leap, LLC (“Decisive Leap” “we” “us” “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://www.decisiveleap.com website (“Site”). This Policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Decisive Leap and has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) being used online.

By accessing the site, utilizing any of the services and/or registering with us, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to this Policy.

We may collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users register on our site, visit our site, fill out a form, respond to a survey, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our site.

Users may be asked to provide, as appropriate, their name, mailing address, email address, phone number, demographics (age, sex, and etc.). Users may, however, visit our site anonymously. We will collect PII from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. We may collect non-PII about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our website, new products and other updates.

Contact Forms: If you submit a contact form, the submissions go to the database and is used for customer service purposes only. The form submission data gets deleted periodically. We do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Other than that, nothing is else collected when using our products (Nothing is sent to our server except for license activation – which is your license key and your domain). These datas are only meant for verifying the licenses during activation of our plugin. 

2. How Decisive Leap Uses Your Information

Decisive Leap collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To Personalize User Experience. We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
  • To Improve Our Site. We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To Improve Customer Service. Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
  • To Administer Content, Promotion, Survey, or Other Site Feature. To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.

We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. 7. Data Retention

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website Administrators can also see and edit that information.

You can request access to the personal information we have for you by contacting us as below. We will provide you with a copy of the data that we have for you. We will fulfill your request by sending your copy electronically, unless the request specifies a different method. If you believe that the personal information or personal data that we have about you is incorrect, you can contact us to update it. For your protection, we only fulfill requests for the personal information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.   • Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.
